Help keep open tools in public hands.
TOPEYE has never taken financial donations. We run on volunteer time and partner support — donated software, hosting, infrastructure, and services. Partnership is how a small nonprofit keeps shipping free tools without turning users into the product.
Much of open-source work depends on quiet costs: servers, storage, domains, security tools, design software, accounting, communication, and time. When a company covers one of those costs, our volunteers can spend more energy building the tools themselves. Partnership with TOPEYE is not a sponsorship campaign — it's a direct way to support software that helps people witness events, understand civic choices, hold power accountable, and keep control of their own information.
What partnership looks like
We keep partnerships simple, transparent, and tied to the work.
- In-kind support such as licenses, credits, hosting, bandwidth, storage, or professional services
- Clear acknowledgment on the TOPEYE site, with your logo and link if you want them shown
- Documentation for your records from TOPEYE INC, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- A practical impact story: what your support helped us run, build, ship, or maintain
- A working relationship with a small volunteer team that will use your contribution carefully
What we're looking for
The most useful support removes recurring costs or fills gaps our volunteer team can't easily cover alone.
- Cloud hosting, CDN, bandwidth, object storage, and database infrastructure
- Developer tools, security tooling, CI/CD, monitoring, and open-source maintenance support
- Productivity, documentation, design, accessibility, and collaboration software
- Streaming, media processing, archiving, and live-event infrastructure
- Pro-bono help with legal, accounting, nonprofit administration, privacy, security, and design
Our current partners.
These partners provide tools and services that help TOPEYE keep working. Their support makes the unglamorous parts of public-interest software possible.
Tell us what you can offer.
If your company can donate software, infrastructure, credits, services, or expertise, send us a short note. Tell us what you have in mind, how long the support could last, and who we should follow up with. We'll respond personally.
